Sushidan is proud to present you “Grand Sushidan Feast”, an exclusive dining experience featuring edomae sushi in omakase style, paired with premium sake by Yamagata Masamune, a century-old traditional sake brewery from Japan.
Yamagata Masamune is brewed in Yamagata, a prefecture famous for summer fruits and delicious sake. Its in-house brewhouse, Mitobe Sake Brewery, was founded in 1898, with over a century of traditional Japanese wine brewing experience under its belt. Come April 24, six premium bottles by the iconic brewery will grace the dining table at Sushidan. They include an award-winning plum wine and a pure rice sake made of Yamada Nishiki, aka the “king” of sake rice. Bursting with a variety of fruit aromas, delicate nuances and distinctive sharpness, the wines bring out the original flavor of the famous rice, while pairing wonderfully with the expertly crafted sushi, leaving you wanting more.
The evening will also feature the fifth-generation president of Mitobe Sake, who will share with us the brewery’s philosophy and art of blending traditional techniques and modern innovation.
