2025 China National Arts Fund Supported Project - Talent Training on the Cultural and Creative Design of Maritime Silk Road

The “Talent Training on the Cultural and Creative Design of Maritime Silk Road” program, organized by MGM, has been awarded the 2025 China National Arts Fund Artistic Talent Training Funding Projects. This initiative integrates tourism, leisure, and cultural arts, highlighting MGM’s commitment to cultivating cultural and creative talent and its national recognition in this field.

Recruitment for participants will take place nationwide until mid-April 2025. The program aims to develop cultural and creative design talents with an international perspective and innovative capabilities through a systematic model that combines“theory + field studies + practice”. Participants will explore historical roots through on-site studies at key locations along the Maritime Silk Road, including Beijing, Quanzhou, Guangzhou, and Macau. They will also engage in direct exchanges with renowned experts from academia, cultural heritage institutions, and the art industry to broaden their horizons. As a hub for Sino-Western cultural exchange, Macau will play a crucial role in this program, which seeks to deeply explore and preserve the cultural essence of the Maritime Silk Road while fostering the sustainable development of cultural and creative talents in Macau and China.
