Mechanical Flipping Matrix Kinetic Art Installation
The prototype of the art installation comes from the residency show Macau 2049. With almost a year to design and polish, this “Lion” microparts various cultural elements from around the world including ancient Chinese jade, Egyptian sculptures, and pixel aesthetics. It is composed of 3,988 “gold brick” pixels, executing the mechanical flipping through advanced control systems and data programming.

Lion Dance Festival 2026
This year’s "Lion Dance Festival” highlights include the "Lion Dance Culture in Chinese Life" exhibition, showcases nine lion dance artworks that fuse traditional craftsmanship with modern creativity.
Workshops, artist talks and sharing sessions with lion dance inheritors will be held every weekend, inviting the public to move from viewing to taking part.
